There is increasing evidence that toxic metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and copper may contribute to behavioral disturbances in some children. Though not a heavy metal, toxic levels of aluminum have also been associated with behavioral problems. Two of the most common behavioral disorders seen in children include Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD or ADHD, with or without hyperactivity) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There are many examples of improvement in the symptoms of ADD, ADHD, and autism in children who have been treated with chelation therapy (the removal of toxic metals from the blood and tissue). While many of these techniques are expensive and have serious side effects, the use of activated liquid zeolite is safe, easy, affordable and as effective as any chelation technique for the removal of metals such as mercury, lead, aluminum, and arsenic.
